"if you stand in the middle you won't fall down" is an inspirational collection of letters from two fictional characters who represent real people and real stories. The author has spent years listening to these stories as a therapist, friend, nurse, healer and consultant, and wanted to share with you the reader, the hope that these stories offer. This is not a quick fix self help book but an opportunity to find the hope, the love, the healing in the midst of pain. Most of all it is about finding the gift in what ever difficult situation life has found you. It is about transforming pain into joy.

About The Author

She has worked in disaster response, critical care and specializes in the healing of sexual, emotional and physical abuse. noel does not adhere to either the cup being "half full or half empty" but believes everyone deserves a full glass; the fuller the glass the more one has to give. noel is an advocate for "mind, body, spirit" modalites and created eloise and jake to fill that cup with effortless joy. she and her husband (rich) designed e j healers, to be in the business of hope.

I like the perspective jake offers at the end of each chapter:jbc i hate to read and i couldn't put the book down: mk it is good to read in segments, and its easy to read all the way through. cl I can relate to things, almost as if it was telling my story: pt the section on beliefs made me soiidify some of my own: vb
