About The Author

During WWII, Leon Cooper was Boat Group Commander for his ship, leading Higgins Boats carrying assault troops on to the beaches of a number of Japanese-held islands, including Iwo Jima. In civilian life his career included inventing a number of patented products. He was CEO of his own computer company and CFO of major corporations. Don Tait is a successful screen and TV writer, including more than 70 screenplays. Was number one screenwriter for Disney.

Bob Thomas, noted Hollywood biographer and historian, has this to say about "90 Day Wonder-Darkness Remembered"... "Leon Cooper's '90 Day Wonder' vividly captures the drama of what has been called The Greatest Generation. The combat scenes are especially gripping, and Cooper's portrait of his wretched commander Boda ranks with Captains Bligh and Queeg,l The book is an intensely human story intensely told."
