About The Author
Major Eric Egland (Reserve) has served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. His experience includes working to defeat terrorism, narcotics trafficking and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College and graduated from the US Air Force Academy. He recently contributed to Blog of War (Simon and Schuster, September, 2006) and has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News Radio to discuss national security.
