About The Author
Debbie was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but when she was nine, her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She felt fortunate to grow up in a small town atmosphere. Horses and the mountains were her favorite weekend activity. She spent many hours with her girlfriends making forays into the mesa hunting for arrowheads and horned toad lizards. Her parents were always ready with a box or crate of some sort to house the many critters she would proudly bring home.
Debbie currently resides in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia; but between New Mexico and Georgia, she has lived in Maryland, Illinois, South Dakota, and Florida. Her favorite residence was in Florida, mainly because she had spent most of her youth in the desert with the mountains so near and water much too far away. Having the Gulf Coast less than a mile from home was a welcome change. Unfortunately for Debbie, the time spent in Ft. Walton Beach was much too brief. A job offer in Atlanta caused yet another change of scenery for her and her husband. They have been in Atlanta for almost fifteen years and look forward to the day when they can retire to the mountains.
Debbie has had many experiences that most people only read and wonder about. She has jumped out of airplanes, took a stab at scuba diving, and hiked to the top of Diamond Head, the volcano in Hawaii. Debbie had also spent many a summer traveling around the country on a motorcycle; not only as a passenger, but also as the operator. She said, “It’s quite an invigorating experience and one that I highly recommend. It’s a sensory extravaganza of enormous magnitude. For me, I could fully appreciate the smell of the fir trees after a summer shower on my way to the Grand Canyon, or watching heat waves coming off the pavement in Death Valley.”
Debbie has been married to the same man for nearly twenty years. They share the same love of the outdoors. When not at home, they can be found out on a local lake, fishing. They also donate time at the horse rescue, helping with the many chores required to keep the busy farm running. The Ramsey’s don’t have any children, but they do have two little dogs who have been their companions for nearly sixteen years.

"Let me just say...KUDOS to you on the book!!! I started Thursday night and couldn't put the book down until 2 AM and I finished it this morning. You did a wonderful job with this. I didn't want to put it down each night! I was really captivated by Molly as she grew into womanhood." A. Collins New York, NY
"Eden Moon - An excellent first effort! The richness of the characters, and the voyeuristic peek into their lives, I found to be quite addicting; I couldn't put it down. I found myself spellbound by their escapades, not wanting the story to end! I am eagerly looking forward to more work from this up-and-coming romance novelist." C.Weaver Albuquerque, NM
"There is an up-and-coming novelist on MySpace, and I've had the privilege of reading her first book, which will be available later this year. Check out myspace.com/daydreamerbooks, or click the link for my friend Debbie to find out more. An insider's opinion: I laughed, I cried, I got emotionally attached to the characters and the storyline; so much so that I didn't want the book to end... ever!! This first book will be entitled Eden Moon, and I'm sure there will be more on the way. Be sure to check it out!!" K Copeland Denver, CO
"Debbie's first venture into the role of author has been quite remarkable. From the very first chapter of her first book, Eden Moon, she seemed to have
an intimate understanding of her characters.
Debbie was able, very early in the story, to draw the reader into the very engaging exploits of Molly "Moon Pie" Monroe and Marty Steele and, also, make us actually care about what was happening to them.
Now that she has discovered her passion , as well as her talent, for writing, I can simply encourage Debbie to continue sharing her delightful characters and their stories with us."

I read Eden Moon. I, too, could not put the book down once I started. This lady, to my mind, has the makings of one of the next top ten Authors. I lived every paragraph in the book. The writing was excellent and the flow of the text was excellent. I was there,in imagination,at every episode! I look forward to her next work. Truly an amazing piece of work!
