This is a book about working dogs, their accomplishes, how they touched society and their memorials. Many died in the line of duty and many died of other causes after doing their duty. The K9s include law enforcement,search and rescue, military war dogs.


About The Author

From the beginning, dogs have been a part of Louise Olson Krause's family. Born in Michigan, raised in Indiana, married Robert, former airman and moved east to New Jersey. Two sons joined the family and soon after there was the sounds of a barking dog protecitng the children. This book started with the donations of memorial cards to handlers who lost their partner. Memorials to these heroes became a website, www.k9memorialcards.com, which became this book. "Lulu" as lived in 'Cape May, NJ for many years with Bob and they have two dogs as part of the family. Never been without dogs and still have two today. Cannot imagine life without the sound of paws around the
