Ground Truth shows how everyday Americans are making a difference for the troops and their mission by delivering the supplies and equipment they need, whether in combat overseas or healing with their families at home. While many Americans, even some government and military leaders, assume the troops have everything they need to complete their mission, the reality on the ground is quite different. Readers will be intrigued to understand how well-intentioned bureaucracies often hinder their own wartime mission, and encouraged to see the American spirit at work, as average citizens use their ingenuity and generosity to go beyond bumper stickers and care packages.
