About The Author

Stewart Portela and Brett Hill are both public school teachers in Firth, ID. Brett is the winningest coach in the history of Idaho Cross Country with 15 state championships. He is in his 21-year of teaching and coaching. He is the math coordinator and calculus teacher at Firth High. Stewart has won 14 state track championships in his 27 years of coaching. He currently teaches chemistry and physiology at Firth High.
